It’s been said that we now live in an attention economy , what I equate to what everyone used to call ‘information overload.’ It addresses a situation where there is so much to which you could give your attention that the only way to deal with it all is to divide your attention and share it among many needs.

Automobile tires are now being outfitted with RFID transmitters : Schrader Bridgeport is the market leader in direct Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems. Direct TPMS use pressure sensors inside each tire to transmit data to a dashboard display alerting drivers to tire pressure problems. I'll bet anything you can track cars with them, just as you can track some joggers by their sneakers .

My Skype contacts in Shanghai, China reported to me that the undersea cables are damaged by the earthquake and that few foreign websites can be accessed. Only skype and google-talk can connect and msn messenger does not work since this morning.
