As most of us have, I've been concerned for many years about the environment and how large corporations impact it, as well as how we interact with different labor resource pools in different parts of the world. I'm continually impressed with HP's approach to both subjects. For example, we've been recognized by in the The Computer TakeBack Campaign (CTBC) , whose annual report card focuses on corporate 'greenliness' and industry efforts to decrease the negative environmental implications of PC waste-products by reducing lead solder and promoting easier PC-recycling. HP took top honors and was singled out as "Going the Extra Mile".
